About the Role
We are currently looking for a full-time Campervan / Vehicle Build Technician to join our well-established and successful team. This position is responsible for the construction, installation, finishing, quality assurance, and function testing of components and equipment installed in our vehicles.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience working with hand tools, power tools (track saw, table saw, drill press, grinders, etc.), and other shop equipment. The ability to train on and implement new equipment is a plus. Broad mechanical and electrical knowledge, acute attention to detail, and a positive attitude are required.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and install components such as heaters, solar panels, lithium battery systems, roof racks, bumpers, and awnings.
Diagnose, repair, and install mechanical and electrical systems, including 12V DC, 110V AC wiring, and solar charging setups.
Fabricate and install custom interior elements, including cabinetry, panels, and upholstery.
Cut vehicle body panels to install windows, vents, and fans.
Perform quality assurance checks and function tests to verify proper operation.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Continuously improve processes, materials, and methods to enhance efficiency and quality.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience in carpentry, electrical, mechanical work, or automotive service.
Proficiency in operating hand and power tools (table saw, drill press, grinders, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience with material properties, fastening methods, and structural loads is a plus.
Positive, team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
Additional Skills & Experience
Experience with vehicle maintence and suspension upgrades
Proficiency in CNC router setup, operation, and maintenance.
Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles and process improvement techniques.
